Hi, I’m Madison Schneider.
As a designer and painter based in Long Island, NY, I consider my goals in each field to be relatively similar: to bring warmth and creativity to what I make, and to create an experience for the viewer. In my experience in what many people consider to be two very different areas of art, I found that I could use each to my advantage in either area. I enjoy taking what I’ve learned in both my painting and design practices separately and bringing them together, and I believe that gives me a unique perspective in both areas. In my work, I strive to bring a sense of personality and a handmade quality that I think digital work sometimes lacks. Whether I’m designing a logo or working on an abstract painting, I try to make each piece of work unique to itself while still leaving room for any individual to relate or connect to it based on their own separate experiences and imaginations.
My work, both painting and design, is very intentional yet open to interpretation by whoever is viewing it.
(and I promise I’m more friendly than my portrait looks)
